Jeff Virdi is a seasoned Facilities Engineer with over 15 years of experience, specializing in the Oil and Gas upstream and midstream sectors. He has a strong track record of successfully leading and managing a diverse range of projects, spanning from small maintenance and upgrades to more extensive EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and capital projects.
Jeff possesses a wide array of skills and competencies, including proficiency in Process Safety Management, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Process Safety Information (PSI). He excels in managing change within projects and is adept at creating mechanical layouts, process piping and pipeline design, hydraulic and process simulations, cost analysis, and the preparation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents.
His knowledge extends to constructability evaluations, industry regulations, codes, and standards such as DOT, API, ASME, and OOOO. Jeff is skilled in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), as well as process engineering and design. He is well-versed in equipment specifications and procurement, automation and controls, emissions reduction, and multidisciplinary team coordination. With his extensive experience and diverse skill set, Jeff is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of facilities engineering in the Oil and Gas industry, ensuring the successful execution of a wide range of projects.
